Aug 31 The Tall Wall goes up

 Here's the crane truck that we had to call in to put the tall wall in place.

 Peyton and Beckett were VERY intested in the proceedings since it involved a truck.

 The tall wall being lowered into place. The wall weighed several hundred pounds.

 The trusses are almost all in place. we used scissor trusses which gives us a sloped ceiling from 8 feet on the outside walls to 10 feet at the peak. The overall feeling is that of 10 foot ceilings.

This gable end gave us an idea if we ever do a similar construction. We thought that it would be really cool to have windows designed to fill the spaces instead of just plywood.
